U.S. Post Office

These items are products produced for and issued for test purposes by the US Post Office.
This differs from: the  WAUT-111 item in Rolands book which was a nockoff "COPY' of the Post Office item WAUT-102 made by Wincor for their own use.
The most likely reason for the knock off copy was cost. It is not actual "stamps" just a printed image on a single thickness of paper, while WAUT-101 & 102 are full simulated stamps that can be pealed off the backing. I was told at one time the Post Office sold them to vendors to use in testing their ATM's at about .20 to .25 per pane.

 Printed by Avery Dennison

who print all the US ATM stamps.
